Finish It Co-op Roles
Sprayer, troweler, runner, turret lead — a job site, not a crowd.
Moonrise Interactive’s description tells you to play with friends. This page is the missing org chart. Finish It servers hold 20 players. Without roles, 20 hopper guns paint the lawn. With roles, the same 20 people can close exteriors, interiors, and the pool in a single evening. Use the house checklist as the shared board.
Core roles (2–5 players)
Sprayer. Owns the hopper gun, works in strips, does not chase drips. Reads how to plaster.
Troweler. Follows one strip behind the sprayer. Never starts a new wall the sprayer has not coated. This is the unsung S-tier role.
Runner. Plates, shop, code checks, refill trips. Buys from the upgrade planner so sprayers never open the menu mid-strip.
Turret lead. Plants Infinite Turrets (or cash turrets) on long neglected spans. Does not turret the wall the sprayer is currently on.
Caller. Optional fifth. Owns the room order from how to finish the house and tells people when to move.
Duo shortcut: one sprays, one trowels, swap every room. Trio: add a runner. More than five: split into two squads (interior vs exterior) instead of stacking roles.
Splits that work
- Floors: ground vs upper.
- Faces: north facade vs south vs back.
- Feature: pool team vs house team.
- Shift: A sprays while B shops, then swap so upgrades stay even.
Do not split by “whoever sees brick.” That recreates the front-door pileup.
Passes in a friend group
You do not all need All Gamepasses. Ideal spread:
- Everyone: spray uptime or Infinite Spray if anyone buys Robux.
- One: Infinite Plates.
- One: Infinite Turrets.
- Optional: More Speed on the runner.
- Nobody needs Galaxy Skin for the house to finish.
Rank arguments against the gamepass tier list. If only one friend will spend Robux, Infinite Spray on the main sprayer beats four colors packs.
Chat macros that are not cringe
“Taking interior.” “Turret on east wall.” “Trowel behind me.” “Shop, don’t spray my wet strip.” That is enough. If the server is randoms, say it once. If they ignore you, switch to solo playstyle on the pool or the back wall — still a win.
Grief and reports
Blocking doorways, spraying teammates’ cameras, and running auto farm loaders in a public co-op session are reportable. Leave if a script GUI pops. Script safety explains why you should not “just watch.”
Codes and co-op
When a code exists, the runner redeems first on every account using how to redeem, then you start the room. Staggered cash makes roles feel unfair for no reason. Until codes exist, skip this step; the codes hub is empty on purpose.
After the house is white
Take a group screenshot from the lawn, crane in the background. Then either hop servers for a fresh lot or wait on updates for the next Moonrise job. Co-op is a habit. Keep the same roles next time so you are not re-explaining the trowel.
Duo versus five-stack
A duo should not invent five roles. Spray and trowel is enough; shop between rooms. A five-stack should not all spray. If you have extra people, split into house squad and pool squad rather than adding “assistant sprayer #3.” Extra guns on one stud still miss edges.
Voice chat helps but is not required. The caller’s job is one sentence per move. If voice turns into a podcast, mute and follow the house checklist row names.
When a friend is brand new
Send them getting started and put them on trowel behind you for one wall. Do not hand them turret lead. Do not send them to the pool. A new hopper gun on the pool is how you get a stippled swamp. After one good trowel pass they can spray a small side wall while you watch edges.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Finish It players.
What is the best co-op split in Finish It?
One sprayer and one troweler per zone. Add a runner and a turret lead as the party grows.
Can 20 players finish the house instantly?
Only if they split. A full server stacked on the front wall is slower than a disciplined duo.
Who should buy Infinite Turrets?
One designated turret lead. Duplicate turret owners will fight for the same wall.
What if randoms will not take roles?
Call once, then play solo tactics on a neglected side. Do not argue in chat for ten minutes.
