How to Earn Money in Finish It

Turn finished surfaces into upgrades without wasting a session in the shop.

How to Earn Money Fast

Cash is the only score that matters until the house is done. Finish It pays you for completed work, then asks you to invest that pay in tools that make the next wall faster. This page is the farm route: which surfaces pay, which upgrades raise your rate, and which purchases look tempting while silently killing your hourly. Pair it with the upgrade planner and the upgrade tier list.

What actually pays

You earn money by finishing surfaces — plastered, smoothed, and preferably painted. A half-sprayed brick face is not a paycheck. That is why the plaster guide is a money guide in disguise. High-contrast exteriors are the best tutorial farms because you can see remaining brick from a distance. Interiors pay too but add walking. The pool is a single large contract: slow to start, satisfying to cash out.

Do not bounce between three rooms. Pick one, finish it, shop, repeat. The house checklist exists to stop tourist gameplay.

Rate boosters, in order

  1. Spray uptime. Reloading is dead time. Buy capacity or Infinite Spray.
  2. Movement speed. The lot is bigger than it looks. More Speed or the cash equivalent.
  3. Carrying capacity / Infinite Plates. Fewer trips between stacks and walls.
  4. Turrets / Infinite Turrets. Passive spray on long walls while you trowel.
  5. x2 Gems. Only if you are gem-gated, not cash-gated.
  6. VIP. Quality of life. Take it after the production passes.
  7. More Colors / Galaxy Skin. Zero cash per minute.

The All Gamepasses bundle is a Robux convenience pack, not a cash strategy. If you buy it, you still need the discipline on this page or you will AFK in the shop admiring skins.

A 30-minute cash session

Warm up on a remaining exterior strip. Trowel as you go. Cash out into speed or spray. Spend the next 20 minutes on either a full interior room or the pool floor — one complete job, not five dabs. If a friend is on, you spray, they trowel, you both get the house closer to done and the shop closer to the next breakpoint. Co-op roles keep the payroll fair.

Check codes at the start, not the middle. There are no verified live codes as of September 2026, so do not stall. If a code lands later, redeem it into the same upgrade order, not into cosmetics.

Gems versus cash

Gems are slower and more premium. Spend them on the same bottlenecks: ammo, carry, turrets. x2 Gems is strong if you already play daily and weak if you were about to uninstall. Never gem-buy a skin when your hopper is empty.

Things that feel like money but are not

  • Re-spraying a wall because you skipped the trowel.
  • Following another player’s spray like a conga line.
  • Running auto farm scripts that get the account banned mid-session. A ban is -100% cash.
  • Standing in the shop comparing Galaxy Skin to the default red avatar.

Solo versus party income

Solo: turret on the longest wall, you on a room with lots of edges the turret is bad at. See solo playstyle. Party: split the lot so nobody waits for a wet wall. 20-player servers can theoretically melt a house; they usually just crowd the front facade. Be the person who walks around back.

When cash stops feeling scarce, switch goals from “shop” to “completion” and open how to finish the house. The endgame flex is a finished lot, not a full pass list you never used.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Finish It players.

What is the fastest way to make money in Finish It?

Finish complete surfaces (spray + trowel + paint) and dump cash into spray uptime and speed before cosmetics.

Do codes give a lot of cash?

When they exist, they are a bonus. None are verified as of September 2026. See codes.

Should I buy x2 Gems first?

Only if gems are your bottleneck. Most beginners are cash- and ammo-gated instead.

Does co-op share money?

You still want your own upgrades. Split rooms so everyone completes work instead of stacking on one wall.
