Finish It House Checklist
Tick rooms in order so “working on the house” actually ends.
Copy this list into chat, a note, or your head. It is the same order as how to finish the house, flattened so a co-op caller can read it out. Technique stays on how to plaster. Shop stays on the upgrade planner.
Exterior
- Ground-floor front brick
- Ground-floor left side
- Ground-floor right side
- Back wall
- Upper story / gable
- Scaffold-only spans
- Window frames and edges (trowel pass)
Plant turrets on the longest remaining check. You take corners. Solo playstyle is this section plus interiors.
Interior
- Largest tiled room
- Adjacent room / kitchen-like space
- Hallway
- Stairs (top, sides, underside)
- Any furniture-adjacent wall you skipped
Plates matter here. If the crew is out of carry, the runner shops instead of “helping” spray. Co-op roles.
Pool and specials
- Pool floor (deep to shallow)
- Pool walls
- Pool stairs and ladder surround
- Deck / coping if the lot includes it
- Any extra prop walls (sheds, fences, low brick piles)
The pool is one boss, not four side quests. Finish it in one session if you can.
Paint and decorate
- Exterior color pass
- Interior color pass
- Pool shine / white pass
- Decorations only on finished surfaces
More Colors is for this section, not for section one.
Last 10%
- Spiral walk around the lot
- Look up, then crouch and look under stairs
- Trowel any wall you “know” is done
- Screenshot from the lawn with the crane in frame
If you cannot find the last brick, you are not crazy. Incremental lots hide a strip behind a scaffold. Walk it twice.
How to use this in a 20-player server
Paste three unchecked rows in chat and claim them. If someone else is already on the front, skip to back or pool. Do not make a second checklist. One list, many hands.
When the list is all ticked
You finished it. Check updates for a new job, codes for a possible celebration string, and official links if you want to like the game now that you have earned the button. Then take a break. The trowel will be there tomorrow.
Timing notes
A focused duo can clear ground exteriors in a short session and still fail the pool if they start it tired. Schedule the pool when spray tanks are full and speed is already bought. Interiors are the session you open how to earn money beside, because plate trips drain cash-per-minute if carry is still rank zero.
If you only have twenty minutes, tick one exterior face completely rather than dabbing four. Partial ticks lie to tomorrow-you. A row is binary: white and trowelled, or not.
Naming rooms in chat
Use the labels on this page, not “that one” or “left.” Left of spawn changes when someone turns. “Ground-floor back wall” does not. The caller on co-op roles should paste this list once and then only send the next unchecked row. Silence after a tick means move, not open the shop for Galaxy Skin.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Finish It players.
Should I tick paint before the pool?
No. Paint last so you never color a wall that still needs plaster.
Can I skip the pool?
Not if you want a full finish and the pool is on your lot. Do it after interiors.
How do I assign checklist rows in co-op?
Call a row in chat and do not start a second row until it is ticked.
What if a patch adds a new room?
Add a row at the end of Interior or Specials and keep paint last. Watch updates.
